Specialized Pelvic Floor Treatment

  • Ultrasound Biofeedback:  ULS connects with iPad that the patient can hold and actually see the muscles they are retraining, great for postpartum, incontinence, post-prostatectomy, or core weakness.
  • Pelvic Sensor Biofeedback:  this gives the patient very specific electromagnetic assessment of how to relax pelvic muscles, which then allows us to retrain how much they can contract.
  • Hypopressives: This is a unique way to use the diaphragm to strengthen and simultaneously stretch/release the pelvis, rooted in yoga theory, backed up by solid evidence, and endorsed by pelvic health experts.
  • Dry Needling – very effective for pain in pelvic region.
SJD

Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction

  • Frequently, symptoms such as sciatica, low back pain, pelvic pain, and hip/knee/ankle pain are misdiagnosed as strains, sprains, or dysfunctions of the lumbar spine, hip, or lower extremities. However, Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) Dysfunction can often be the root of these symptoms. Even pain and dysfunction far from the SIJ can be caused by this imbalance.  You can learn more about SIJD here
